Handcrafted from maple and purpleheart with a quilted maple base, this chess set brings together contrasting woods and thoughtful details. The rich purpleheart border frames the playing surface, while the rippling grain of the quilted maple adds depth and character to the base.
Lift the board to reveal built-in storage with individually fitted spaces for the chess pieces, finished with burgundy patterned fabric. Everything tucks neatly away when the game is over.
Made for evenings around the coffee table and beautiful enough to leave on display, the Cambridge Chess Set is a celebration of the game and the craft of woodworking.
